Ana + Michael’s guests expected to be celebrating their engagement, but on arrival they quickly realised they had turned up to their surprise wedding!
We worked with this couple to create a relaxed and laid back party, while still including romantic design elements with tones of blush and rose gold.
The day was extremely windy, so their ceremony setup was swiftly moved inside the venue Centennial Homestead, prior to guests arriving.
We designed the ceremony centred around the epic circular balloon arch we dreamed up, scattered with flowers for a soft and romantic look. This was paired with a dusty pink loveseat from our hire collection as the signing table chair. We repurposed this setup into a photobooth area for guests AFTER the vows, with the loveseat sitting infant of the balloon
The entry to the party included a welcome sign which hand painted to suit their invitations (see more signs we have done here)
Their guests gave cards and well wishes in our rose gold “its love” wishing well box, which tied in perfectly with the colour palette and the romantic and playful vibes of the day.
Guests danced into the night under the festoon string lights of the summer night!
